Description

Working in a high volume customer services center responding to phone inquiries about Group Benefit Plans, i.e. health, life insurance, long term disability, voluntary benefit plans, Retirement and Stockholder Services,
Prepare paperwork related to benefit requests and update associates’ information and
Assist with a variety of other tasks within the benefits department as needed.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent experience
Ability to handle a high volume of calls daily and process work accurately, timely and meet deadlines
Professional telephone etiquette and probing skills
Bilingual-English/Spanish
Ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information
Ability to work independently and productively
Be detail-oriented with good analytical skills and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attendance and punctuality record
Ability to work well with others, remain positive and be an effective team member

Preferred Qualifications

Two years Publix retail customer service experience in an employee benefits administration department
Call center experience
Benefits experience
General accounting skills
Bilingual -Spanish a plus
