Description

  • Working in a high volume customer services center responding to phone inquiries about Group Benefit Plans, i.e. health, life insurance, long term disability, voluntary benefit plans, Retirement and Stockholder Services,
  • Prepare paperwork related to benefit requests and update associates’ information and
  • Assist with a variety of other tasks within the benefits department as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Ability to handle a high volume of calls daily and process work accurately, timely and meet deadlines
  • Professional telephone etiquette and probing skills
  • Bilingual-English/Spanish
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to work independently and productively
  • Be detail-oriented with good analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality record
  • Ability to work well with others, remain positive and be an effective team member

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years Publix retail customer service experience in an employee benefits administration department
  • Call center experience
  • Benefits experience
  • General accounting skills
  • Bilingual -Spanish a plus
