Description

We are seeking a Refrigeration Alarm Monitoring Supervisor to join our Facilities Refrigeration team! The purpose of this position is to provide oversight and direction in managing the performance of a team of 20 associates in the centralized Facilities Refrigeration Alarm Monitoring Contact Center. The Facilities Refrigeration Alarm Monitoring Contact Center operates 24/7 to process over 150,000 refrigeration alarms and monitors refrigeration in approximately 95% of the store fleet. This position is accountable for process development, implementation and the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the operation to ensure timely outage resolution and reduce repair and maintenance costs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Driving results and making decisions through the delivery of quality customer support of outage resolution and timely equipment repair/replace decisions

  • Managing the delivery of both quantitative and qualitative analysis on refrigeration call data for the purpose of supplier service-level management

  • Managing supplier service levels

  • Resolving and/or escalating issues relating to refrigeration outages and/ or repairs made by external service suppliers for the purpose of ensuring proper response to our retail customer

  • Managing talent for the purpose of developing bench strength and creating opportunities for associates to grow and advance


Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or other analytical discipline, or equivalent experience

  • 2 years refrigeration and energy management system experience in a supermarket industry

  • 2 years’ experience leading a team and developing effective solutions to complex business systems situations

  • Expert knowledge of ACD systems and Telephone Service Factors


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or other analytical discipline

  • 5 years refrigeration and energy management system experience in supermarket industry

  • 3 years’ experience leading a team and developing effective solutions to complex business systems situations

  • Certified Food Safety Manager
