Description

Publix is looking to hire Senior and Principal QA Engineers across our Technology department who are strong in manual testing.
A typical day would include:

• Work on small to large project efforts on enterprise-level applications
• Work collaboratively with the team to determine test efforts for initiatives
• Participate in requirements and design meetings to establish test effort estimate
• Translate requirements, release notes, and other documentation into test plans, test scenarios, and test cases
• Manage test cases within Quality Center and Microsoft DevOps
• Perform testing and data validation utilizing SQL queries
• Build test data as necessary in preparation for automated or manual tests
• Participate in load and performance test efforts
• Present testing outcomes for review for go/no-go decisions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences or other analytical discipline, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years’ experience performing Quality Assurance software testing
• 4+ years’ experience designing, developing and executing test cases
• 4+ years’ experience with test case development tools
• 4+ years’ experience with creating and executing complex SQL queries to support test activities
• 4+ years with HP Quality Center

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience conducting software quality assurance for enterprise applications
• Experience in Scrum/Agile
• Experience with Oracle databases
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps
• Experience developing, testing, and executing automated test cases using an automated testing framework
